Bantz batted just .219/.282/.307 in 211 plate appearances last season between Double-A Jackson and Triple-A Tacoma -- affiliates of the Mariners. He'll give the Nationals some added organizational depth at catcher in the wake of the Wilson Ramos hand injury. | ||||||
