Schlosser was reassigned to the Rockies' minor-league camp over the weekend, MLB.com's Thomas Harding reports.
Schlosser, who was acquired along with David Hale from the Braves in a January trade, had been competing for a role as a swingman with the big club. Manager Walt Weiss announced after Schlosser's demotion that the right-hander would work in a relief role in the minors this season, with Triple-A Albuquerque his likely destination.

Schlosser was traded to the Rockies on Friday along with David Hale in exchange for Jose Briceno and Chris O'Dowd.
Schlosser posted just a 29.7% groundball rate in 15 appearances with the Braves last season, but owns a 1.64 GO/AO for his minor league career, so he may be able to stick with the Rockies in a long-relief role. If Colorado is hit by injuries in spring training, Schlosser may even be afforded a chance to start, but his fantasy upside would be marginal given his inability to miss bats at a high clip (7.3 K/9 in minors).
Tue Dec 16 201419:04Schlosser re-signed with Braves on minor league deal Monday
Schlosser re-signed with the Braves on a minor league deal Monday, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
A strong 2013 campaign at Double-A Mississippi (2.39 ERA, 1.19 WHIP) put Schlosser in the discussion for an Opening Day rotation spot last spring, but Schlosser was beaten out by David Hale and went on to post disappointing numbers in 25 appearances (15 starts) with Triple-A Gwinnett. It resulted in the Braves non-tendering Schlosser at the end of the season, but they will welcome the right-hander back as low-cost organizational starting pitching depth.
Tue Dec 2 201418:41The Braves declined to tender Schlosser contract
The Braves declined to tender Schlosser a contract, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Schlosser was a rotation candidate in spring training, but that was only because the Braves had been hit so hard by injuries. The right-hander lost out on the job to David Hale and then mightily struggled in 15 appearances out of the bullpen (7.64 ERA, 1.64 WHIP) before heading down to Triple-A Gwinnett. Schlosser failed to get back on track at Gwinnett (4.17 ERA, 1.41 WHIP), but he did show some promise with Double-A Mississippi in 2013 and should at least catch on with another team on a minor league deal.
