RHP Jarrett Grube was outrighted to Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday as the Mariners took him off the 40-man roster. Grube is 1-7 with a 4.13 ERA in 25 games (19 starts) in Triple-A this year.

RHP Jarrett Grube, whose contract was selected from Triple-A Tacoma on Wednesday, was optioned back to the minor league club the next day. He did not get into a game with Seattle. Hs is 1-5 with a 4.20 ERA in 21 Triple-A games this year, 15 of them starts.

Grube, who had a 3.97 ERA at Tacoma, has only one previous MLB appearance: in 2014 with the Los Angeles Angels.
