In 12 previous appearances with the big club in 2014, Daley contributed a 4.85 ERA, 1.308 WHIP, and 9:6 K:BB in 13 innings. However, he boasts significant strikeout potential, as evidenced by a 12.20 K/9 in 34.2 innings at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this season.

An MRI taken Monday on Matt Daley's sore right shoulder showed no structural damage.
Daley is simply dealing with inflammation and should be ready to return from the 15-day disabled list around June 20. The right-hander has allowed seven earned runs in just six innings of relief so far this season.

Rockies placed RHP Matt Daley on the 15-day disabled list with right shoulder soreness.
Daley allowed seven runs over six innings in his time with the Rockies, but it appears that he wasn't quite right physically. He said the shoulder initially started to bother him in his May 27 outing against the Cardinals. Daley did note that the injury is different than the one he dealt with last year, as the pain this time around is more in the front of his shoulder. He'll fly back to Denver to be examined by team doctors before the Rox decide what to do with him.

Steve Foster at InsideTheRockies.com is reporting that Matt Daley could earn Colorado's last reliever spot.
Daley has pitched six scoreless innings this spring, including one on Wednesday in which he struck out two and allowed a hit. He performed decently last year after a mid-season call-up.
