Watkins has not appeared in an MLB game this season but saw time in 27 games for the Cubs in 2013. In 316 Triple-A at-bats, Watkins slashed .256/.329/.364 with 20 doubles, four home runs and 38 RBI.

Cubs purchased the contract of INF/OF Logan Watkins from Double-A Tennessee.
He's now on the 40-man roster. Watkins batted .281/.383/.422 with nine homers and 28 steals at Double-A this season while playing the middle infield and the outfield.
