Brewers designated INF Brooks Conrad for assignment.
With a hideous .075/.136/.225 line through 44 plate appearances, the 32-year-old was just taking up a spot on Milwaukee's bench better allocated elsewhere. Outside of a stretch in 2010 with the Braves, Conrad has never hit in the majors. He is also not a good defender. He'll draw no interest on waivers.
