Santiago (collarbone) was activated from the disabled list Monday, John Lott of the National Post reports.

Santiago (collarbone) was re-signed to a Minor League contract on Monday and is headed to the disabled list, Gregor Chisholm of MLB.com reports.
With this move, the team made official what was previously reported last week. After getting injured on Mar. 15, the team released him to avoid paying a $100,000 roster bonus. Santiago is likely out for the next two months and has a chance to make the 25-man roster upon healing. Santiago has extremely limited fantasy value until he becomes healthy and makes the roster and even then, will have a suppressed fantasy value.

Santiago (collarbone) will return to the Blue Jays on a minor league deal, Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports.
A leading candidate for a backup infield role at the halfway point of spring training, Santiago broke his collarbone on a diving play Mar. 15. The injury will cost Santiago at least 10 weeks, meaning an early-June return is likely a best-case scenario for the 35-year-old. While Santiago missed out on a $100,000 bonus with his release Monday, the Blue Jays will bring Santiago back and in turn pay for his rehab and afford him the chance to crack the major league roster once healthy.

Santiago (collarbone) will miss 10 weeks, Blue Jays announcer Mike Wilner reports.
He suffered a broken collarbone over the weekend and this essentially eliminated any chances he had of making the roster out of camp. Look for him to rehab to start the season and eventually get into games in the upper levels of the minor leagues sometime in June.

Santiago went 2-for-4 with one run scored and one RBI against the Rockies on Friday night.
The Reds' infielder has been an up-and-down hitter for most of the season, although he has done a decent job filling in for an injured Reds' infield. Santiago (.235/.329/.301) isn't expected to string many good hitting games together moving forward.

Thu Nov 28 201323:08Report: Multiple teams pursuing INF Santiago
Multiple teams have expressed interest in Ramon Santiago, according to MLB Daily Dish's Chris Cotillo.
Santiago's decision could come soon, Cotillo adds. The 33-year-old slashed an anemic .224/.298/.288 over 234 plate appearances for the Tigers in 2013, but he's valued for his defensive versatility. Santiago, who has spent the last eight years in Detroit, can fill in at second, third and shortstop.

Thu Aug 8 201322:41Ramon Santiago leaves after tweaking leg
Ramon Santiago left Thursday's game against the Indians after tweaking something behind his left knee.
Santiago thinks he'll be fine. The Tigers would probably like for him to sit out a game or two just to be safe, but they might not have that luxury with Jose Iglesias (toe) also banged up.

Santiago is currently slated to serve as the club's backup middle infielder. The 33-year-old is good with the glove but is a career .245/.313/.334 and will make $2.1 million this season, so it shouldn't cost much to get him.
