Buehrle will have his start pushed back to Monday, the Baltimore Sun's Eduardo Encina reports.

The Blue Jays will have Marco Estrada start Sunday's game against the Orioles with Buehrle starting Monday in Boston. Marcus Stroman will probably join the Jays' rotation next weekend, which could affect Buehrle's second start next week, so stay tuned.

Buehrle will have his next start pushed back from Saturday to Sunday, Sportsnet's Barry Davis reports.

Buehrle was already set to get an extra day between starts, but he will now receive an additional day of rest, and will start Sunday for the first time since the same day the previous week. David Price will move up a day and start Saturday's game on normal rest.

Buehrle (14-6) earned the win Sunday against Detroit, allowing one earned run on five hits and two walks while striking out two over six innings.

Buehrle was spotted to a six-run lead before giving up two runs, one of which was earned, in the sixth and seventh innings before giving way to the bullpen. After getting hammered for nine runs over his last two starts, the lefty looks like he got back on track with a solid outing. He'll make his next start Saturday against Baltimore.

Buehrle took a no decision Tuesday against Texas, as he allowed five runs on seven hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out three.

Buehrle served up a pair of home runs, and he has now served up 19 dingers in 25 starts. His pinpoint control (25 walks in 165 innings, 1.4 BB/9 has allowed him to limit the damage thus far, as his ERA is still at 3.60 despite the rough start. Buehrle has now allowed at least four earned runs in consecutive start for the first time since April 26 and May 1. He misses too few bats (4.25 K/9) to be consistently excellent, but he's been savvy enough to record 17 quality starts in 25 outings.

Buehrle (13-6) lasted just four innings Wednesday in Philadelphia, giving up four runs on seven hits.

Ordinarily, Buehrle wouldn't have come out so early despite being so ineffective, but this game was in a National League park, and with the Jays trailing 4-2 and a man in scoring position, manager John Gibbons pinch hit for him. It was just the second time in his last 18 starts that the veteran failed to complete six innings, and his first time since way back on May 29 allowing more than three earned runs. Buehrle will look to bounce back Tuesday against the Rangers.

Buehrle (13-5) came away with the win after limiting the A's to two runs on seven hits and two walks in seven innings. He struck out just two.

Strikeouts are certainly not Buehrle's calling card, but stamina sure is -- the crafty lefty has now pitched at least seven innings in 14 of his last 16 starts. He's been surprisingly effective in terms of ratios, too, as that 1.16 WHIP he's sitting on is his best since his very first full year in the majors, 2001, when he put up a 1.07 mark. Buehrle's been having a fantastic time pitching behind the Blue Jays' explosive offense, and there's no reason to think the good times won't keep coming.

Buehrle (12-5) allowed three runs and five hits in seven innings to earn the win over the Twins on Thursday.

Buehrle only needed 83 pitches to win his third consecutive decision and his seventh win in his last eight decisions. He gave the Twins a season-worst fifth straight loss and is now 30-19 with a 3.68 ERA in 54 career appearances against them. The 36-year-old southpaw has allowed no more than three runs in 12 straight starts since May 29, and he'll look to keep it going when he faces off against the A's in his next scheduled start Wednesday.

Buehrle came away with a no-decision Saturday, allowing four runs (three earned) on five hits over seven innings while striking out three.

Buehrle snapped his streak of 11 quality starts in a row and also hadn't issued a walk since June 26, a span of 127 batters. Despite his struggles, he still kept the team in a position to win the game and holds a 3.29 ERA on the season. He'll look to bounce back in his next start Saturday against the Royals.

Buehrle moved to 11-5 after holding the Athletics to one run on eight hits over seven innings Tuesday night. He struck out three and didn't walk a batter.

Buehrle is now running a streak of 11 quality starts and has gone at least seven innings in six straight. Over this span, he has 41 strikeouts against just nine walks and a stellar 1.97 ERA. He now has a 3.32 ERA in 51 starts since 2014 and looks fully acclimated to life in Toronto and the American League East.

That's now an amazing 15 consecutive seasons with 10 or more wins for the left-hander, who wraps up a very impressive first half with a 3.34 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, and an active streak of eight straight quality starts. If the Jays fall out of the playoff chase Buerhle could find himself on the trade block later this month, but assuming he stays in Toronto the team's offense could push him to his first 15-win season since 2008.

Buehrle (ankle) has been confirmed as Saturday's starter against the Royals.

X-rays on Buehrle's ankle were negative after Monday's start and there was never any indication from the Blue Jays that Saturday's outing was in serious jeopardy. He will start opposite Chris Young, looking to extend his quality starts streak to eight.

Buehrle's ankle was swollen following Monday's game, but the X-rays came back negative, which bodes well for his status moving forward. Buehrle took the loss Monday due to four unearned runs, but he did not give up an earned run over eight innings and lowered his ERA on the season to 3.38. It remains to be seen if he will make another start before the All-Star break, or if the Blue Jays will push him back to give his ankle extra time to heal.

Buehrle was unlucky Monday, taking the loss after allowing four runsall unearnedover eight innings against the White Sox.

Errors by Jose Bautista and Jose Reyes hurt the Blue Jays dearly in this one. Beurhle has been on a tear since the beginning of June, allowing a total of eight earned runs in 51 innings spanning seven games. His final start before the All-Star break comes this weekend against the Royals.

Buehrle fanned seven and held the Red Sox to one run on four hits over seven innings to earn his ninth win of the season Wednesday afternoon.

The song remains the same here. Buehrle works quickly and efficiently, while often returning very light strikeout totals. For the season, he's delivered a 3.64 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP, while the latter mark is significantly better than his results from his first two seasons with the Jays (1.35 and 1.36, respectively). Buehrle will face the White Sox on Monday before a road start July 11 against the Royals prior to the All-Star break.

Buehrle turned in another solid performance, allowing two runs on five hits, walking two and striking out five over seven innings of a 12-2 win against Texas on Friday night.

Buehrle (8-4, 3.81 ERA) has put together a very impressive month of June, allowing just seven earned runs in 36 innings, dropping his ERA from 4.97 to it's current 3.81 in the process. He's not flashy, and doesn't run up big strikeout totals, but he typically keeps the Jays in the game, and with their offense, that can often lead to wins.

Buehrle recorded his fourth straight quality start Saturday, allowing two runs on six hits and a walk over seven innings, striking out five.

He came away with a no-decision, but the performance lowered Buehrle's ERA to 3.90 and his WHIP to 1.26, which would be his best mark in three seasons as a Blue Jay. He'll look to make it five straight QS on Friday, at home against the Rangers.

Buehrle pitched well in a no-decision, allowing two runsone earnedin seven innings against the Mets.

Buehrle has been masterful this month, allowing just three earned runs in 22 June innings, lowering his ERA from 4.97 to 4.01. The veteran lefty has been very strong since a disaster outing at the start of May, and he'll try to continue that this weekend against the Orioles.

Buehrle allowed two runs on six hits with a walk and three strikeouts in Tuesday's win over Miami.

Aside from solo home runs by Giancarlo Stanton and Christian Yelich, Buehrle didn't allow an extra-base hit over his six innings. With complete games in three of his last four outings, including back-to-back nine inning performances, the 36-year-old pitcher was limited to under 100 pitches. He is scheduled to face Matt Harvey in New York on Monday.

Buehrle tossed a complete game shutout, scattering six hits and a walk while striking out two in Wednesday's 8-0 victory over the Nationals.

That's Buehrle's second straight complete game, a feat he last completed on September 25 and 30 in 2004. He is an innings machine, tossing over 200 innings every season since 2001. While his low strikeout totals make him a tough option for fantasy owners to choose, his consistency means that there are many worse options you could have in your rotation.
