Rockies activated RHP Matt Daley from the 60-day disabled list.
Daley had a 3.74 ERA and 1.52 WHIP in 26 appearances for the Rockies before hitting the disabled list June 16 with an inflamed right shoulder. Again healthy, he will resume his role in middle relief.

The roster move clears a spot on the 40-man for Wes Hodges. Daley is currently shut down with right shoulder tightness.

Matt Daley (shoulder) threw a scoreless inning Monday at Double-A Tulsa.
Daley will pitch again on Thursday, then again on Saturday, and could rejoin the Rockies' bullpen soon after. The right-hander was placed on the disabled list June 11 with right shoulder inflammation. He had a 3.74 ERA, a 1.52 WHIP and a 17/9 K/BB ratio in 21-plus innings before the injury.

Rockies placed RHP Matt Daley on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to June 11, with right shoulder inflammation.
Daley hasn't pitched since June 10 due to the shoulder issue. The Rox were hoping he would avoid the disabled list, but he hasn't felt well enough to pitch at all this week. The right-hander will leave behind a 3.74 ERA, a 1.52 WHIP and a 17/9 K/BB ratio, accomplished in 21-plus innings.

Rockies recalled RHP Matt Daley from Triple-A Colorado Springs.
Daley compiled a 4.02 ERA and 1.66 WHIP in 19 appearances for the Rockies before being sent down to the minor leagues on May 16. He had two scoreless appearances under his belt at the Triple-A level.

Daley is the man to make room for the triumphant return of Jeff Francis. He was 0-1 with a 4.02 ERA and a 1.66 WHIP in 19 games for the Rockies this season. If they need bullpen help, he ought to be the one they recall.
