Harang (foot) will throw a bullpen session Saturday, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Harang could begin a rehab assignment next week if all goes well with the bullpen session Saturday. He has been on the disabled list since July 2 with plantar fasciitis.

Harang, who has been on the DL since early July, may be able to return from the disabled list next week without requiring a rehab assignment. The 37-year-old could theoretically return in time to make one last audition to potential suitors before the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline, but the Phillies' selling window may have closed already due to the missed time.

The 27-year-old was shelled in his last outing Wednesday night, allowing eight earned runs on 14 hits in 5.0 innings. Harang has taken the loss in each of his last eight starts. In a corresponding move, the Phillies activated Chad Billingsley from the DL.

Harang (4-11) was tattooed for 14 hits and eight runs in just five innings Wednesday against the visiting Brewers, who stuck him with his eighth consecutive loss.

If you looked at Harang's 2.02 ERA at the end of May and said, "This is the time to sell high," congratulations; on the flip side, if he's still lingering around on your fantasy roster, it's time to look for better options. Since the start of June, Harang has given up 34 runs (32 earned) in 34.2 innings spanning six starts, making him incredibly hard to trust entering next week's start against the Dodgers.

Harang allowed eight runs on 14 hits over five innings in a loss to the Brewers on Wednesday.

Harang has lost eight straight starts and has a 6.94 ERA over that span. He is now 4-11 with a 4.08 ERA and 73:27 K:BB ratio in 106 innings this season. He will face the Dodgers in his next start.

Harang allowed five runs (four earned) on nine hits, walking one and striking out five over six innings of a 5-2 loss to Washington on Friday night.

After a dazzling April and May, Harang (4-10, 3.56 ERA) has now allowed four or more runs in five consecutive starts, while watching his ERA jump to it's highest level of the season. Playing on a poor team with a steadily rising ERA does not bode well for the veteran's fantasy value in the second half.

Harang struggled again Saturday, losing the decision after allowing four earned runs in six innings with six strikeouts.

Harang wasn't going to have his ERA hover around two forever, but his last four starts have been rough. He allowed at least four runs in each of them and has had his ERA rise up to 3.41. He could turn it around and still provide some benefit to the Phillies, but it's difficult to think he wasn't at peak value during the end of May.

Harang wasn't at his best Monday, taking the loss after allowing four runs in six innings against the Orioles.

The major damage to Harang was done by Matt Wieters, who launched a three-run blast off of the starter in the sixth inning. After posting a 2.02 ERA through the first two months of the season, Harang has allowed 17 runs in three June starts. He'll try to right the ship against the Cardinals this weekend.

Harang took the loss Tuesday against Cincinnati as the Reds touched him up for seven runs and four homers over six innings.

Harang had only given up four home runs in 12 previous starts entering the game. Luckily, Harang won't be pitching in Great American Ball Park on a regular basis. Harang still owns a 3.04 ERA and 3.82 FIP despite the disaster.

Harang (4-6) was awful Thursday, giving up six hits, five walks and six runs (five earned) over 5.2 innings in a loss to the visiting Reds.

After a promising start his last time out -- seven strikeouts without a walk against the Rockies -- this was more of what we expected from Harang, a career-long mediocre pitcher on a bad team. His ERA is still a sparkling 2.45, but his fortune-aided .253 BABIP and career-low 3.8 percent HR/FB mean that regression is coming for Harang, and it'll be painful for his fantasy owners. He'll rematch with the Reds on the road Tuesday.

Harang took the loss despite a quality start on Saturday, allowing two runs (both on solo home runs) on four hits over six innings, striking out seven.

His first two months of the season have been outstanding, and Harang now has a 2.02 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, a 53:15 K:BB ratio and 10 QS through 71.1 innings (11 starts). He'll next take the hill on Thursday, at home against the Reds.

Harang didn't pick up a win, but he did give the Phillies another quality start. He is 4-4 with a 1.93 ERA and a 46:15 K:BB ratio in 65.1 innings this season. He will face the Rockies in his next start.

Harang allowed three runs, none earned, on three hits over six innings Tuesday against the Rockies. He struck out seven and walked three.

A first inning error by Maikel Franco at third base led to the unearned runs. Harang now has eight quality starts in his nine outings this season, tying him for the Major League lead with Zack Greinke. He'll face the Nationals in his next start.

Harang earned his fourth win of the season Thursday with eight scoreless innings against the Pirates. He struck out six and walked one.

Harang is now 4-3 with a 2.03 ERA and a 37:10 K:BB ratio in 53.1 innings this season. He will make his next start against the Rockies in Colorado.

Harang went seven innings and allowed two earned runs with two strikeouts in the 3-2 loss to the Mets Saturday.

Harang was cruising until the seventh when Juan Lagares took him deep for a two-run homer and was unfortunately saddled with the loss. Harang has still had an impressive season, posting a 2.38 ERA and going at least six innings in all seven games he's pitched. Harang's next game will come Thursday against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Harang picked up his third win of the season Monday against the Braves. He allowed a run on five hits while walking one and striking out two.

Harang has faced the Braves twice this season and allowed just the one run in 14 innings. He will face the Mets at home in his next start.

Harang surrendered five runs in six innings, giving up nine hits and one walk to go along with six strikeouts against the Cardinals on Wednesday.

Harang ended a career-best run of eight consecutive quality starts dating back to last September. Despite Wednesday's poor outing, Harang still maintains a 2.51 ERA for the season. The right-hander's next scheduled start will be Monday at Atlanta.

Harang tossed eight shutout innings, allowing two hits and one walk while striking out six, but came away with a no-decision in the Phillies 1-0 win over Atlanta Friday night.

Harang has a pair of wins to go with a 1.37 ERA in four starts for Philadelphia this year in what has to be one of the biggest early surprises in 2015.
