Thielbar has given up three runs in five innings this spring and isn't a lock to make the major league bullpen, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
He does have a 5:1 K:BB ratio in five innings this spring. It's surprising he's on the roster bubble since he was in the majors all last season and effective (3.40 ERA). Caleb Thielbar picked up a win in relief after pitching a perfect inning against the Indians on Monday.
Thielbar was primarily used when the Twins were down last year, but he's getting more work in close games now, even if he's often just being called on to face one or two batters at a time. He already has two wins and two holds in his 13 appearances, and he's allowed two runs in 9 2/3 innings total.

Caleb Thielbar pitched a scoreless frame to help the Twins top the Marlins 4-2 on Sunday.
Thielbar was great but underutilized last year. This spring, he's allowed one run in five innings, but it doesn't sound like he'll make the staff with the Twins likely to keep at least a couple of guys who are out of options. That's a shame because he's probably one of the team's better relievers.
