LOS ANGELES (AP) — Pitchers Garrett Richards, Tyler Skaggs and Matt Shoemaker agreed to one-year deals with the Los Angeles Angels along with the team's other seven arbitration-eligible players.Richards, the team's ace, agreed at $7.3 million. He made one start last April before missing the next five months while rehabbing a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament in his pitching elbow. The 29-year-old right-hander has made just six starts in each of the past two seasons because of elbow injuries. RHP Cam Bedrosian took most of the lumps in Cleveland's seven-run eighth inning. Bedrosian faced six batters and only retired one. The other five scored. "Cam was erratic with his command and his breaking ball wasn't sharp. We'll just turn the page on that one," manager Mike Scioscia said.

RHP Cam Bedrosian was activated from the disabled list Saturday, giving a stout bullpen an additional arm. The 25-year-old has been on the DL since suffering a groin injury in his third appearances of the season, just after being named the closer with Huston Street also injured. He made his first appearance Saturday, working a 1-2-3 eighth inning in the Angels' 9-0 win over Kansas City. Bedrosian, who has a career 3.77 ERA in parts of three seasons, was 2-0 with a 1.12 ERA last season in 45 games. There are no immediate plans for him to close. "The plan is to go wherever they tell me. Just come in and help the team," Bedrosian said. Manager Mike Scioscia said "adding a player with his kind of upside is going to be a huge boost."

RHP Cam Bedrosian, the Angels' closer to start the season, is expected to be activated from the disabled list Saturday. He has been on the DL since April 22 because of a strained groin.
