It's pretty amazing that Gross has stuck in the majors all year long as poorly as he's played. He's batting .236/.281/.307 in 212 at-bats, so there's really no chance at all that he hangs on Oakland's 40-man roster this winter. Unless he wants to head to Japan, he'll have to settle for a minor league contract for 2011. | ||||||

This year, he has just one homer and eight walks in 149 at-bats, giving him a pathetic .255/.291/.322 line.
