Sun May 1920:22Josh Hart Can't Lift New York To A Win In Game 7
New York Knicks forward Josh Hart (abdomen) was available for Sunday's pivotal meeting with the Pacers after suffering an abdominal strain on Friday night. However, while Hart should be recognized for his willingness to play through the ailment, he struggled to a degree, ending the afternoon with 10 points and shooting 3-for-9 from the field and 0-for-4 from deep. Hart did add eight rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Yet, it was apparent he wasn't fully healthy. With the Knicks eliminated from the playoffs, Hart will get some rest and prepare for the 2024-25 campaign. He appeared in 81 games for New York during the regular season, and although he isn't the most consistent on the offensive end, he'll see plenty of interest from fantasy managers.

Sun May 1915:04Josh Hart Cleared To Play On Sunday Afternoon
New York Knicks forward Josh Hart (hamstring) will play on Sunday against the Pacers. Hart has averaged a double-double throughout the series. He tweaked an abdominal muscle during Friday's loss, although it will take more than that to keep him off the floor for the pivotal clash with Indy. Of course, the veteran isn't fully healthy. However, DFS managers shouldn't ignore him.

Sun May 1914:52Josh Hart Says He's Playing On Sunday
New York Knicks forward Josh Hart (abdomen) stated he will play in Sunday's pivotal postseason matchup with the Indiana Pacers. Hart has been instrumental in the Knicks' success throughout this series, averaging well over a double-double. Unfortunately, he suffered an abdominal strain during Friday's loss and left the contest. Of course, the veteran could be limited physically, so DFS managers will take a significant gamble by putting him in their lineups.

Sat May 1818:43Josh Hart Expected To Play In Game 7
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, New York Knicks forward Josh Hart "will attempt to play through" the abdominal strain he suffered during Friday's loss to Indiana. The 29-year-old has played a pivotal role in the Eastern Conference semifinals, averaging 13.0 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 1.2 steals. Unfortunately, he was injured in Game 6 and didn't return, resulting in a questionable designation for Game 7 on Sunday. However, even if Hart is officially cleared to suit up, he won't be fully healthy, so his DFS potential is limited.

Sat May 1818:13Josh Hart On The Injury Report For Game 7
New York Knicks forward Josh Hart (abdomen) is questionable for Sunday's Conference semifinal finale against Indiana. Hart has been an Iron Man throughout the series. But he strained an abdominal muscle during Friday's loss and eventually left the contest. With that said, the Knicks need anyone available to get by Indiana, so Hart will do all he can to get on the floor. If he's unavailable, it could mean even more minutes for Isaiah Hartenstein due to his offensive rebounding prowess. However, Jalen Brunson, Donte DiVincenzo, and Miles McBride should lead the way offensively, assuming OG Anunoby (hamstring) doesn't return for a pivotal Game 7.

Fri May 1022:49Josh Hart Grabs A Double-Double In Game 3
New York Knicks forward Josh Hart had a double-double in Friday's playoff matchup with Indiana. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough, with the Knicks dropping their first game of the series. Jalen Brunson (foot) wasn't himself after tweaking his foot in Game 2. While Donte DiVincenzo had a team-high 35 points, Hart still scored 10 points while adding 18 rebounds, four assists, and two steals. The 29-year-old has been on a roll during the postseason, and he should continue to see heavy minutes in Game 4 on Sunday afternoon, especially if OG Anunoby (hamstring) remains out.

Mon Apr 2222:48Josh Hart Gets It Done In Game 2
New York Knicks forward Josh Hart had another big game on Monday night in the postseason win over the 76ers. He played all 48 minutes and finished with a double-double, amassing 21 points and a game-high 14 rebounds. The 29-year-old also got after it defensively by ending the evening with two steals and two blocks. Hart has been one of New York's top contributors, combining for 43 points and 28 rebounds in the series' first two games. With the Knicks now up two games to none, both clubs will meet again on Thursday in Philadelphia. Fri Apr 519:38Josh Hart Will Play Against The Bulls
New York Knicks forward Josh Hart (wrist) is available for Friday's meeting in Chicago. He was listed as probable because of a sprained right wrist, so there wasn't any doubt regarding his availability for this one. The 29-year-old narrowly had a triple-double in Thursday's win over the Sacramento Kings, meaning he'll likely see plenty of attention from DFS managers.

Thu Apr 419:28Josh Hart Cleared To Play On Thursday
New York Knicks guard Josh Hart (wrist) has been cleared to play ahead of Thursday's game against the Sacramento Kings. Hart is ready to go after being listed as questionable coming into this game. He should resume his role in the starting five, but might not shoot as much due to the wrist issue. Hart still does enough in other aspects to hold fantasy value even if he doesn't score as much as normal. Fantasy managers in season long formats should feel fine about plugging Hart back in their lineups.

Wed Apr 320:57Josh Hart Questionable Against The Kings
New York Knicks forward Josh Hart (wrist) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Kings. He has a sprained right wrist. However, it didn't stop him from logging 46 minutes in Tuesday's 10-point loss to the Miami Heat. Yet, despite his availability, Hart struggled offensively, ending the night with only two points. With that said, if he can't suit up versus Sacramento, Bojan Bogdanovic, who had 16 points on Tuesday, could become a popular DFS option.

Thu Feb 816:41Josh Hart Off Thursday’s Injury Report
New York Knicks forward Josh Hart (knee) isn't listed on the injury report for Thursday's game versus the Dallas Mavericks. Head coach Tom Thibodeau said following Tuesday's win over the Memphis Grizzlies that Hart's right knee was being checked out by the medical team, per The Athletic's Fred Katz, but the swingman doesn't carry an injury designation entering Thursday's action. The 28-year-old spot-up wing has taken on more ball-handling responsibilities over his last five games in Julius Randle's (shoulder) stead, leading to some dismal field-goal shooting (32.6%) but solid averages of 9.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 5.6 assists in 39.7 minutes since Jan. 29. With Quentin Grimes (knee) headed to the Motor City, Hart is set to handle heavy minutes again and haul in plenty more boards against a Dallas team that ranks 28th in opponent rebounding percentage (47.7%).

Fri Jan 1921:14Josh Hart Questionable Against Toronto
New York Knicks guard Josh Hart (knee) is questionable ahead of Saturday's matchup with the Raptors. He wasn't available for Thursday's narrow win over the Washington Wizards because of a left knee injury. However, each of the Knicks' starters logged at least 38 minutes, with Quentin Grimes absorbing 19 minutes from off the bench. If Hart misses his second consecutive contest, expect head coach Tom Thibodeau to continue to give his starting lineup plenty of minutes, meaning anyone on the bench could have a tough time doing anything relevant for fantasy managers.

Thu Jan 1818:28Knicks Say Josh Hart Is Out Thursday
New York Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau says forward Josh Hart (knee) is out and will miss his first game of the season on Thursday versus the Washington Wizards. Hart is day-to-day with left knee patellar tendinopathy, with Thursday's outing being the second leg of New York's back-to-back set. The 28-year-old swingman targets a return for Saturday's Atlantic Division clash with the Toronto Raptors. Hart corralled 14 rebounds in Wednesday's win over the Houston Rockets and has a defined sixth-man role in the Knicks' rotation despite sitting outside the top 150 in category fantasy leagues. Donte DiVincenzo should have a longer leash in Thibodeau's starting five on Thursday, while Quentin Grimes and Miles McBride will have a chance at expanded roles from the second unit.

Wed Jan 1709:37Josh Hart Iffy For Wednesday's Game
New York Knicks guard/forward Josh Hart (knee) is in danger of missing his first game of the season Wednesday against Houston. He's listed on the injury report as questionable with left patellar tendinopathy. Hart is New York's biggest contributor off the bench, and his absence would open up a large chunk of minutes. Quentin Grimes could rise into relevance again without Hart, while Miles McBride might also pick up some of the minutes.

Sat Dec 16 202321:11Josh Hart To Play On Saturday
New York Knicks guard Josh Hart (knee) is available for Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. As expected, Hart will suit up after being listed as probable heading into the game. He has been dealing with right knee inflammation, but it won't be enough to hold him out of the game. Hart is expected to hold him normal role in the rotation and is of greater importance in a tough matchup against Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

Sat Sep 23 202308:26Josh Hart Set To See Minutes As Power Forward
New York Knicks guard/forward Josh Hart is believed to be penciled in for the backup power forward role for training camp. According to SNY's Ian Begley, the Knicks like the idea of Hart playing in the second unit and making plays as a screener out of the short role. The team doesn't have a lot of frontcourt depth, and playing Hart in the power-forward position will be an interesting experiment. The 28-year-old stands only at six-foot-four, but he's always been a good rebounder, and it seems like the Knicks staff sees Hart as a good fit for the position.

Fri Sep 1 202322:20Josh Hart To Play More Power Forward This Year?
The New York Knicks could be considering bringing guard/forward Josh Hart off the bench as a backup power forward next season. The 28-year-old appears penciled in as New York's second-string small forward currently, but the Knicks are also still looking for a 15th man on their roster. Hart likely wouldn't exclusively play at the 4, anyway, so fantasy managers shouldn't worry about him potentially being blocked for playing time by starter Julius Randle. Obi Toppin averaged only 15.7 minutes as a reserve last year, but that was due to head coach Tom Thibodeau's reluctance to play him alongside Randle, which Hart should do plenty of. The versatile Hart should remain a solid across-the-board contributor who doesn't significantly hurt any one category next season.
