Tigers re-signed RHP Enrique Gonzalez to a minor league deal.
Gonzalez had a 3.81 ERA but woeful 13/17 K/BB ratio over 26 innings with the Tigers in 2010, though he pitched well at Triple-A, posting a 3.41 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 54/16 K/BB ratio over 66 frames. The 28-year-old will try to make the 2011 roster as a long man.

Gonzalez, 27, was signed to a minor league contract by the Tigers in January. He has posted a 3.46 ERA over 11 starts with Triple-A Toledo this season. Gonzalez has a 5.93 ERA and 1.44 WHIP in 29 major league appearances. He posted a 4.91 ERA over two appearances with the Red Sox last season.
