Colston (shoulder) was present for the portion of Tuesday's practice that was open to the media, ESPN's Mike Triplett reports.

After suffering a separated shoulder in Sunday's loss to the Eagles, Colston seems unlikely to be ready for Thursday against the Falcons. Outside of very deep leagues, Colston's availability is only significant in terms of how it might impact the snap count of fellow wide receiver Wille Snead.

Panthers head coach Ron Rivera said Kuechly (concussion) may be on a "pitch count" in Week 6 against the Seahawks, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports.

Kuechly returned to practice Tuesday, setting him up to play for the first time since Week 1. There's some chance he'll have a limited role, but despite what his coach said, it's more likely the star linebacker will jump right back in as an every-down player.

Manuel's teammate Tyrod Taylor (knee) may miss multiple games due to a sprained MCL, Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports.

Manuel had a strong preseason and is an impressive athlete, but his straight-line speed (4.65 40) doesn't translate to the kind of running ability that has made Tyrod Taylor a top-10 option at quarterback. Even if Taylor misses time and Manuel plays reasonably well, the latter won't necessarily be an option outside of two-quarterback leagues. The Bills draw a tough Week 6 matchup with the Bengals.

Taylor (knee) may miss multiple games due to a sprained MCL, Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports.

Taylor suffered the injury during the fourth quarter of Sunday's 14-13 win over the Titans on a horse-collar tackle at the end of one of his impressive scrambles. He only missed one snap and threw the game-winning touchdown shortly thereafter, but he's likely dealing with some swelling in the affected knee. If Taylor misses any time, which wouldn't be surprising, E.J. Manuel would take over as the starting quarterback. Taylor has been a top-five quarterback in most formats through five weeks, but Manuel doesn't have the running skills to produce in a similar fashion.

Cowboys Executive VP Stephen Jones said the team is considering a quarterback change from Brandon Weeden to Cassel, 105.3 The FAN reports.

The Cowboys have two weeks to make their decision before a crucial Week 7 game against the Giants. Cassel is a known and unimpressive commodity, but he may be a bit better than Brandon Weeden, who followed a pair of solid performances with a clunker against the Patriots on Sunday. Even if Dez Bryant (foot) is back for Week 7, the Dallas quarterback will be a bottom-of-the-barrel option.

Reed (concussion/knee/ankle) will likely miss at least another game or two, ESPN.com reports.

Reed had at least one concussion at the University of Florida, and he then suffered a pair during his rookie season (2013), ultimately landing on injured reserve when the symptoms took months to clear up. Now dealing with another concussion, not to mention a sprained MCL, Reed is a long shot to be ready for Week 6. Derek Carrier started at tight end in Sunday's loss to the Falcons, catching two passes for 27 yards and a touchdown on three targets.

Johnson picked off two passes and recovered a fumble during Sunday's victory at Detroit.

Since posting one tackle in the opener, Johnson has totaled 22 tackles over the last four games, but his value rests in his ability to force turnovers. Lo and behold, he notched his second and third interceptions of 2015, the latter of which was tipped in the air by Tyrann Mathieu and subsequently sniped by Johnson. Thus continues a trend during the Bruce Arians' era -- 2013 to present -- during which Johnson has nabbed 10 interceptions, including two pick-sixes, and recovered two fumbles in 34 games.

Cotchery (ankle) returned to practice Tuesday, Steve Reed of The Associated Press reports.

Cotchery has been sidelined since injuring his ankle in Week 2, but it appears he is ready to resume playing coming out of the Panthers' bye week. He will likely slot back in as either the Panthers' third or fourth receiver.

Jones (hamstring) said his "leg would have to be cut off or something" to keep him out of Thursday's game against the Saints, ESPN's Vaughn McClure reports.

Echoing the sentiment of head coach Dan Quinn, the superstar wideout said he expects to play through the injury. Jones appeared far less than 100 percent in Sunday's win over the Redskins, often sporting a limp or walking back to the huddle very gingerly. Of course, he didn't look so bad when running, and he's been quick to point out that he has a long history of producing while injured. Jones was listed as a non-participant in Monday's practice, and he'll likely be limited or absent for Tuesday.

Minter racked up a career-best nine tackles (seven solo), including two tackles for loss, and one pass defended in Sunday's win in Detroit.

Entering the contest, Minter was one of two Cardinal linebackers to earn 50 percent of the defensive snaps, gathering up 87 percent. The other (Alex Okafor) strained his calf Sunday and is expected to miss a month of action, and while he's unlikely to earn much more work with Okafor out of commission, Minter could be presented with a few more tackle opportunities per game. Nonetheless, Minter's 96-tackle pace after five outings is off the IDP radar, as he's displayed no pass-rushing acumen nor a nose for turnovers in his two-plus years as a pro.

Webb suffered a thigh injury during Sunday's loss to the Browns, the Baltimore Sun reports.

Webb was announced as probable to return, and while he was seen with his helmet on the sidelines, he never actually made it back into the game. If he's not available for Week 6 against the 49ers, the Ravens will likely need Kyle Arrington to play an every-down role.

Taylor "is hurt pretty bad," according to Vic Carucci of The Buffalo News, which leaves his status for Week 6 uncertain.

The cryptic report leaves out many important details, but the Bills did sign a quarterback -- journeyman Josh Johnson -- Tuesday after going with just two quarterbacks last week, so it would seem they have at least some concern about Taylor's health, and want to ensure they have two healthy quarterbacks heading into Week 6. Taylor did run for a season-high 76 yards last week, but it appears he is still be feeling the effects of the ankle injury he suffered in Week 3. Be sure to keep tabs on Taylor's status over the next few days if you are considering using him in your starting lineup this weekend.

Wright was signed by the Ravens on Tuesday.

Despite signing a one-year, $3 million contract in the offseason, Wright couldn't get on the field for a corner-needy San Francisco team, eventually leading to his release. He'll now join one of the few teams that is in worse shape at his position, which means he could actually take on a decent role. Wright is still far removed from the IDP picture.

Lambo was 2-for-3 on field goal attempts and 2-for-2 on extra points in Monday night' loss to the Steelers.

Lambo's miss came from 60 yards out as the first hald expired, so it's tough to hold that one against him. On the season, he has hit nine of his 11 field goal attempts, making the Chargers' decision to get rid of Nick Novak look pretty good so far.

Davis (knee) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.

Acquired from the Dolphins in exchange for a late-round draft pick just a few weeks ago, Davis quickly emerged as the nickelback for a corner-needy Baltimore defense. The former third-round draft pick initially acquitted himself well, only to suffer a torn ACL in Sunday's loss to the Browns. With Lardarius Webb (undisclosed) also injured during the game, Baltimore was shredded by Josh McCown.

Bucannon secured 11 tackles (nine solo) during Sunday's win at Detroit.

For the second consecutive week, Bucannon established a career high in tackles, placing him first on the Cardinals and seventh among all defensive backs in the NFL with 35. His weekly contributions are largely dependent on tackles though, as he's managed scant production otherwise (two sacks, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 21 career games). Despite this fact, he's a top-tier defensive back in IDP formats.

Floyd (concussion) had three receptions (on four targets) for 48 yards in Monday night's loss to the Steelers.

Floyd did not show any ill-effects from his concussion, but with Antonio Gates back in the mix and Keenan Allen still the top wideout, there wasn't too many balls thrown his way. He will look to have a bigger impact in Week 6 in what could be a shootout with the Packers.

James was signed by the Ravens on Tuesday.

Best known for his starring role on HBO's 'Hard Knocks', James played both cornerback and running back for the Texans during the preseason. The Ravens presumably just want to use him on defense, as the team's secondary is turning into a disaster for the second straight year.

Green caught all five of the passes thrown his way for 50 yards in Monday night's loss against the Steelers.

This game marked the return of Antonio Gates who immediately lead the team with nine receptions and two touchdowns, so a drop off was expected for Green. Still, the five catches is something of a pleasant surprise because it shows that he will still be involved in the offense moving forward, even if it is in a slightly lesser capacity. With Philip Rivers always spreading the ball around efficiently in a pass-heavy offense, there could still be some big games ahead for Green.

Jackson was signed by the Ravens on Tuesday.

Selected by the Ravens in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft, Jackson was suspended twice during his first stint in Baltimore, and he failed to make the final roster this year. With the team once again desperate for help at cornerback, Jackson might actually see the field in Week 6. He's shown some promise as a return man, but his work as a cornerback has been far from impressive.
