White caught 2-of-4 targets for 23 yards Sunday against the Redskins.
Games like this one have become customary for the aging wideout, as White just doesn't seem to have the ability to separate from defenders like he once could. Owners in standard leagues should consider their alternatives following another sub-standard performance from Roddy.
Sun Oct 11 201511:31White (non-injury related) active Sunday against Washington
White (non-injury related) is active Sunday against Washington.
White has been the subject to trade rumors of late given that he's barely part of the offense right now, though the Falcons remain adamant that they will not trade him. With Julio Jones and Leonard Hankerson dominating the wide receiver targets, White's fantasy upside has fairly limited, though Jones has been playing through a hamstring injury of late.

White (non-injury related) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against Washington after practicing fully Friday.
After having recorded just two catches on five targets over his last three games, White is a speculative play in Week 5, with Leonard Hankerson having seemingly supplanted him, for now at least, as the Falcons' No. 2 wideout target behind Julio Jones.
Thu Oct 8 201512:59White (personal) returned to Thursday's practice
White (personal) returned to Thursday's practice, D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
After tending to a personal matter Wednesday, White was back in his normal capacity Thursday. Seeking to turn around a slow start to the season -- 13 targets, while earning 80 percent of the offensive snaps -- his output could depend on opposing defenses limiting both Julio Jones (toe/hamstring) and Leonard Hankerson (thumb) going forward. In the short term, White could return to relevance Sunday against a Washington defense that has given up 13.7 YPC and six touchdowns to wideouts this season.
Wed Oct 7 201512:56White (non-injury) missed Wednesday's practice
White (non-injury) missed Wednesday's practice, D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
White is away from the Falcons in order to tend to a personal matter, and while it's unclear when he'll return to drills, his availability for Sunday's game against Washington doesn't appear to be in question. Of greater concern has been his lack of involvement in the offense, as he ranks fourth on the team with 13 targets, despite logging 80 percent of the offensive snaps.

White expressed frustration with his decreasing role in the Atlanta offense, reports. "I've contributed to offenses for this franchise for the last nine, 10 years," said White on Monday. "It always bothers me when I go out and don't catch any balls in a game because it hasn't happened in so long."
White has just 13 targets through four games, despite playing most of the offensive snaps. The Falcons appreciate what he's done for the franchise, but there's no reason to believe that White's frustration will impact the thinking of offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan and quarterback Matt Ryan. Ultimately, White will probably accept that he's now just a complementary player, as this is the best team he's been on since at least 2012.

White recorded just two catches for eight yards on four targets Sunday against Houston.
White and fellow receiver Julio Jones took a back seat as the Falcons did most of their damage on the ground. Matt Ryan's favorite target in this one was Leonard Hankerson, and White's utter inability to contribute anything of substance over the last three weeks has got to be very troubling for owners. With Jones usually dominating the touches at wide receiver, there won't be enough to go around for White if he continues to get outplayed by Hankerson.

White did not record a reception or see a pass come his way in Sunday's win over the Cowboys.
The shrinking of White's role continues. White now has one target and zero catches in Atlanta's last two contests. He has more catchless games in 2015 than the rest of his career combined. Through three games, White's nine targets rank fifth on the team as Atlanta seems focused on funneling the ball to Julio Jones, Leonard Hankerson and the backs and tight ends. He should remain on your bench until further notice.

White was held without a catch and received just one target in Sunday's game against the Giants.
Meanwhile, first-year Falcon Leonard Hankerson, who was targeted 11 times, finished with 77 yards and a touchdown. Sunday's goose egg could be considered an anomaly or attributed to the flow of the game, but the single target is concerning nonetheless. Fantasy owners will hope that a bounce-back performance is in store for White in next week's matchup with the Cowboys.

White (elbow) caught four passes (on eight targets) for 84 yards in Monday night's season opener against the Eagles.
White was his usual productive self Monday, showing no signs of being limited by the elbow ailment he carried into the contest. While teammate Julio Jones saw 11 targets, White's respectable total of eight didn't trail by much and he also averaged over 20 yards per catch. Still cemented as a top wideout in a pass-friendly offense, White opened his 11th season with a sound display Monday.
Mon Sep 14 201517:53White (elbow) active and starting Monday's game against Eagles
White (elbow) is active and starting Monday's game against the Eagles.
While the Falcons will be without wideouts Devin Hester and Justin Hardy on Monday, White will start opposite Julio Jones, with Leonard Hankerson on hand to serve as the team's No. 3 wide receiver in Week 1. As long as he stays healthy, White should continue to see his share of looks in the Atlanta offense, on the heels of a 2014 campaign in which he caught 80 passes (on 122 targets) for 921 yards and seven TDs in 14 games.

White (elbow) is listed as probable for Monday's game against the Eagles.
White took it easy during training camp due to an elbow injury that required surgery, but he is good to go for the Falcons' season opener after practicing fully all three days this week. Quarterback Matt Ryan will have both his starting receivers -- White and Julio Jones -- available in Week 1.
Fri Sep 11 201516:12White (elbow) full participant at Friday's practice
White (elbow) was a full participant at Friday's practice.
A full participant for the second straight day, White seems to have recovered from the minor procedure he had on his elbow Aug. 24. He's set to draw the start across from Julio Jones, with Leonard Hankerson serving as the No. 3 wide receiver.
Thu Sep 10 201516:32Roddy White: (Elbow) Full Practice Thursday
White (elbow) practiced in full Thursday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
White has made his first showings at practice this week since he had a minor procedure performed on his right elbow on Aug. 24. Clearly uninhibited on the Falcons' first official injury report of the season, he'll line up opposite Julio Jones on Monday against the Eagles.
Tue Sep 8 201511:11Roddy White: (Elbow) Returns To Practice
White (elbow) returned to practice Tuesday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
White has been sidelined since undergoing a minor procedure on his elbow Aug. 24, but it appears he is feeling good enough to resume practicing. It's not clear how much work he got in Tuesday, but his presence on the field bodes well for his chances of playing Week 1.
Tue Sep 1 201513:39White (elbow) expected to return to practice next week
White (elbow) is expected to return to practice next week, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
Though he won't necessarily be a full participant, White is at least on track to get some work in. The Falcons expect him to bounce back from a minor surgery and play against the Eagles in Week 1, but if that doesn't happen, Leonard Hankerson will likely start across from Julio Jones.
Sun Aug 23 201517:20Roddy White: Elbow Procedure Shouldn't Keep Him Out of Opener
While White is slated to undergo minor surgery on his right elbow Monday, coach Dan Quinn indicated that the wideout will not miss the Falcons' Sept. 14 season opener against the Eagles, ESPN.com reports. Per the report, White has been "experiencing swelling with loose particles in his elbow."
White, who missed two games last year with hamstring and ankle injuries, also had his left knee drained before the Falcons' minicamp in June, a procedure that he may need to undergo again during the season. While we'll still tentatively pencil in White for Week 1 duty, the 33-year-old wideout's aches and pains remain somewhat worrisome. With Harry Douglas no longer in the Falcons' wideout mix, preseason standout Leonard Hankerson could emerge as an option in deeper formats if White's injury woes carry into the regular season.
Fri Aug 21 201520:31White held out of Friday's game due to elbow injury
White was held out of Friday's game due to an elbow injury, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
White's injury was initially reported as a shoulder issue, but has been updated as an elbow injury. The extent of White's injury has yet to be announced, but the veteran wideout will have over a week to rest up before Atlanta's third preseason game.
Fri Aug 21 201519:16White will be held out of Friday's preseason game against Jets
White will be held out of Friday's preseason game against the Jets, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
White practiced all week, making his sudden injury a bit surprising. There's no indication that the issue will cost him a significant amount of time, so it's possible the move was more precautionary than anything. Regardless, the situation should be monitored to ensure the veteran wideout (who has a history of injury woes) hasn't suffered an injury that carries over into the regular season.

White (knee) was not targeted in Friday's preseason opener against the Titans.
The important thing is that White was able to play, despite having his knee drained two weeks ago. He had a similar procedure before last season and ended up playing 14 games. Julio Jones is going to get a ton of targets this season, but with the Falcons lacking a proven third option, there should be plenty leftover for White.
