Hauschka made his lone field goal attempt Sunday night, drilling a 54-yard field goal in a loss to the Packers.
Hauschka is now 4-for-4 on the year and he's also made all four of his extra point attempts, a good sign for fantasy owners. Considering Hauschka's made just 8-of-15 career 50+ yard field goals, his kick on Sunday could be an even better sign of things to come.

Hauschka is now 6-of-7 on field goals for the season, though he has yet to attempt a kick from 50+ yards. Hauschka also missed a 53-yarder, hitting the left upright. His career long is 54 yards. Hauschka has been his usual dependable self in preseason. He scored 143 points last season, fourth in the NFL, and with a healthy Percy Harvin the Seahawks should have a better offense this year.
Mon Mar 17 201410:55Seahawks K Steven Hauschka gets a $9.15M deal
Seahawks agreed to terms with K Steven Hauschka to a three-year, $9.15 million contract.
The deal includes $3.35 million guaranteed. Hauschka has quietly emerged as one of the game's most reliable kickers, going 57-of-62 (91.9 percent) on field goals over the last two seasons. That includes an 11-of-12 mark from 40-49 yards out and a perfect 3-of-3 from 50+ last season. Hauschka's average annual salary of $3.05 million is in line with recent deals signed by Jets K Nick Folk and Panthers K Graham Gano. Hauschka was fantasy's No. 4 kicker last season, a ranking he won't have trouble repeating.

Sun Mar 2 201419:18Seahawks will not tag Steven Hauschka
The Seahawks will not use their franchise tag on free agent K Steven Hauschka.
Hauschka is coming off an excellent season, but Seattle won't go the Nick Folk route with him, which would've guaranteed Hauschka $3.556 million. Seahawks GM John Schneider does business differently than the rest of the league, and may let Hauschka test the market with the replaceability of kickers in mind.

Sat Feb 15 201416:05Seahawks could franchise K Steven Hauschka
Free agent K Steven Hauschka has an "outside chance" to be franchise tagged.
Hauschka would cost $3.6 million if franchised, but the Seahawks are considered more likely to re-sign him to a multi-year deal. One of the league's most reliable kickers, Hauschka was a Pro Bowl alternate in 2013 and missed only two field goals all year. He turns 29 this offseason.

Wed Nov 6 201310:17Steven Hauschka adds length to his kicks
Steven Hauschka has altered his conditioning routine to add length to his field goals.
Hauschka has never been a great a great kicker from 50-plus, but he's improving. He's 1-of-1 from that distance this season and was made three of them during the preseason. From inside 50 yards, Hauschka has gone an impressive 42-of-46 (91.3 percent) over the last two seasons. He's a good fantasy kicker in the right matchup, and this week's game in a dome against Atlanta's leaky defense certainly qualifies.

Hauschka, 28 in June, made 24-of-27 field goals last season, and he has been with the Seahawks for the past two years after bouncing around with three teams in three years. Tue Feb 19 201311:35Steven Hauschka a candidate for franchise tag
710 ESPN considers free agent K Steven Hauschka the Seahawks' most likely candidate for the franchise tag.
Hauschka was 23-of-23 from inside 50 yards last season. Franchising him would cost $2.926 million, something the financially comfortable Seahawks can certainly live with. However, Hauschka went just 1-of-4 from 50-plus yards out last season and is 4-of-10 from that distance in his career. Perhaps coach Pete Carroll will want to bring in a bigger leg.

Seahawks will place K Steven Hauschka (calf) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Hauschka injured his calf during Sunday's Wild Card win in Washington. It wraps a career-best season that saw him go 24-of-27 on field goals in the regular season, including a 23-of-23 mark from 49 yards out of closer. The Seahawks will roll with veteran Ryan Longwell against the Falcons this week.

Mon Jan 7 201312:55Seattle K Hauschka's injury is to his calf
Coach Pete Carroll clarified that K Steven Hauschka's injury is to his calf, not his ankle.
"You could see him limping out there," Carroll said. "But he made good kicks out there when we needed him." Punter Jon Ryan took over kickoff duties, and Hauschka was limited to field goals under 50 yards. Don't be surprised if the Seahawks bring in another kicker this week.

Sun Sep 4 201117:28Seahawks claim K Hauschka off waivers
Seahawks claimed K Steven Hauschka off waivers from the Broncos.
Hauschka will replace Jeff Reed, who was released in a corresponding move. A career 72.7 percent field-goal kicker on 22 attempts, Hauschka is a fantasy player to avoid in Seattle's moribund offense.
