Mark Kotsay delivered a pinch-hit go-ahead two-run double in a 2-1 win over the Nationals on Thursday.

Wed Oct 12 201123:28Mark Kotsay goes deep
Mark Kotsay belted a solo homer in the Game 3 NLCS loss to the Cardinals.
Brewers manager Ron Roenicke earned some criticism for his decision to start Kotsay in center field. The move looked dubious early on after the veteran was doubled off of second base in the top of the first inning and then failed to get to a bloop hit in the bottom of the inning. But, he did a fine job at the plate, drawing two walks in addition to the solo blast. He might have earned another shot in Game 4 against Kyle Lohse.
