According to Mark Gonzalez of the Chicago Tribune, Donny Lucy has retired from baseball. | ||||||
Lucy, a 2004 second-round pick, appeared in six games with the White Sox last season before being outrighted off the 40-man roster at the end of September. The 29-year-old backstop batted .250 with one home run and three RBI over 44 plate appearances in the majors. | ||||||
