Ochinko was cut from major league camp Sunday, Gregor Chisholm of MLB.com reports.
Ochinko collected one hit in nine at bats this spring, making his release not all together surprising. The 27-year-old was suspended for 50-games last season in addition to battling a head injury, which led to only 24 games played across Double-A and Triple-A. Ochinko will likely start the season in Double-A New Hampshire where it will be incredibly difficult for him to move up through the organization due to the backlog of infielders. He has limited fantasy value even in dynasty leagues.

Ochinko went 2-for-4 with a homer and five RBI in Mesa's 5-3 win over Surprise in the Arizona Fall League on Friday, MiLB.com reports.
For all intents and purposes, 2014 was a lost season for Ochinko, as he was suspended 50 games for testing positive for amphetamine, battled concussion issues and went 6-for-45 to end the year to lower his batting line to .213/.250/.363. He is turning things around in the Fall League, with a .438 average, three doubles and seven RBI through five games, but Ochinko is set to turn 27 later this month and doesn't warrant much consideration in dynasty formats.
