Garson has been targeted 20 times in the last two games, though he's failed to break the 70-yard mark in three straight games without DeSean Jackson (hamstring) on the other side.

Garcon was a full participant throughout the week of practice, confirming that his sore knee is a non-issue. With DeSean Jackson (hamstring) and Jordan Reed (concussion) both missing a game in which the Redskins are heavy underdogs, Garcon could be in for massive volume.

In the aftermath of Sunday's win against the Eagles, Garcon emerged with a mild knee sprain, but the ailment didn't hinder his activity level to start the week of preparation. His upcoming matchup is intriguing, as the Falcons just allowed Texans wide receivers to rack up 19 catches for 300 yards and a touchdown in Week 4.

Garcon, who caught the game-winning touchdown pass late in Sunday's contest, is thus a player to monitor as Sunday's game against the Falcons approaches. So far though, it looks as though this will probably emerge as something the wideout can play through. Either way, we'll circle back on Garcon's status no later than Wednesday's practice.

Garcon caught seven of his eight targets for 55 yards and the game-winning touchdown in Sunday's win over the Eagles.

The veteran finished second on the team in targets and has now hauled in at least five passes in all four games this season. Washington has thrown the ball 95 times during their last two games, and Garcon's fantasy value stands to benefit if they continue their pass-happy ways. Week 5 presents an inviting matchup, as the Redskins will travel to take on a Falcons team that allowed 300 yards and a score to Houston wide receivers on Sunday.

Garcon caught five passes for 64 yards on 12 targets in Thursday's 32-21 loss to the Giants.

Despite finishing first or second on his team in targets in each of the first three games, Garcon has 17 catches for just 163 yards and a touchdown so far. His efficiency won't be this poor all season, but some of the targets will disappear when DeSean Jackson (hamstring) returns, which could happen as soon as Week 4 against the Eagles.

Garcon tied for the team lead in receptions in Sunday's 24-10 victory over the Rams, grabbing six of his seven targets for 23 yards and a touchdown.

The seven passes thrown Garcon's way also paced the Redskins offense in that category, although with a game plan that emphasized a short and quick passing game against the Rams' ferocious pass rush, all were within very close proximity of the line of scrimmage. Garcon now has six receptions in each of the first two weeks and along with the injury-prone Jordan Reed, is the clearly the one of the two primary options in the Redskins passing game while DeSean Jackson is sidelined. Garcon's four-yard touchdown was his first of the season and already puts him within two of matching last year's total.

Garcon had six catches on eight targets for a team-high 74 yards Sunday against the Dolphins.

Garcon had a few extra balls thrown his way after wideout DeSean Jackson was forced out with a hamstring injury, though it was tight end Jordan Reed that caught quarterback Kirk Cousins' lone touchdown pass. The days of Garcon consistently getting double-digit targets are likely over, though he could get a decent amount if Jackson has to miss any additional time. Up next is a Week 2 matchup against the Rams.

Garcon was complimentary of starting quarterback Kirk Cousins in a recent interview with Sirius XM NFL Radio, referring to the signal-caller as a "natural-born leader".

Although he enjoyed some success with Robert Griffin at the helm, Garcon doesn't sound too bothered by the switch to Kirk Cousins. It shouldn't have much impact on Garcon's role, as he'll likely continue to do most of his work on short crossing routes, with DeSean Jackson focusing more on the deep ball.

Garcon had no receptions on three targets in Friday's preseason opener against the Browns.

Garcon got way behind the Cleveland defense on the game's opening drive, only to drop what should have been an easy 61-yard touchdown. It was no way to start 2015 in the wake of his massive drop-off last season, but there was at least some cause for optimism in the form of Robert Griffin's solid showing. Garcon is unlikely to get the kind of volume that allowed him to catch 113 passes for 1,346 yards in 2013, but he could improve on last season's 68-752-3 receiving line.

Garcon's production is expected to benefit from the Redskins focusing on more stable quarterback play this upcoming season, CSN Washington reports.

Garcon's numbers endured an eye-opening decline last season, when he caught 45 fewer passes for 594 fewer receiving yards compared to the 2013 campaign. While the Redskins' addition of fellow wideout DeSean Jackson surely impacted Garcon's production, Washington's anemic quarterback play also restricted his opportunities to make plays last season. Nonetheless, coach Jay Gruden seems intent on helping Garcon rebound this season through a more consistent quarterback situation, saying "Moving forward, we'll get some stability at the quarterback position [and] you'll see all the numbers go up for all the receivers, hopefully."

Garcon had four catches for 61 yards in Saturday's 27-24 win over the Eagles.

Garcon has a decent game every now and then, but he hasn't scored since Week 7 and has largely been a secondary option in Washington's lackluster passing attack. Expect more of the same in the Week 17 finale against the Cowboys.

Garcon caught four passes on seven targets for 36 yards Sunday against the Giants.

Another quiet game in a forgettable season for Garcon. He has 62 catches, 638 yards and three touchdowns on the year.

Garcon had nine catches on 11 targets for 95 yards in Sunday's 24-0 loss to the Rams.

With DeSean Jackson out with a shin injury, Garcon stepped up and posted one of his best games of the season, catching more than five passes for the first time since Week 3. It's been almost a lost season for Garcon, who led the league in targets (181) and receptions (113) last season but now has just 58 catches on 88 targets for 602 yards and three touchdowns this year in 13 games. Up next is a Week 15 matchup against a Giants defense that limited Garcon to just two catches for 28 yards back in Week 4.

Garcon had three receptions on four targets for 34 yards in Sunday's 17-14 loss at San Francisco.

Garcon did almost nothing, other than a 24-yard reception, but Robert Griffin had a miserable game, completing just 11-of-19 passes for 106 yards. The veteran wideout will look to get on track against his former team, Indianapolis, in Week 13.

Garcon caught one pass on two targets for six yards Sunday against the Bucs.

Garcon has failed to catch more than five passes since Week 3. He also has not been targeted more than six times since Week 3. The offense has struggled to score points in recent weeks and DeSean Jackson appears have overtaken Garcon atop the depth chart.

Garcon had three catches on five targets for 15 yards Sunday against the Vikings.

After catching 113 passes on 181 targets for 1,346 yards last season, expectations were high for Garcon this season, even with DeSean Jackson added to the mix. However, he's primarily been a disappointment, failing to reach even 50 receiving yards in six of nine games this season, while catching more than five passes just twice (Weeks 1 and 3). Jackson has been the major contributor, especially of late, with four games with at least 115 yards in the last five weeks, and there's little reason to believe Garcon is ready to break out of his funk. The Redskins are off next weekend, but will come out of their bye to face the Bucs in Week 11, a team that is allowing the second-most passing yards per game this season. If there's a game for Garcon to break out, that could be it.

Garcon caught 4-of-4 targets for 47 yards in Monday's 20-17 overtime win over the Cowboys.

Garcon's four targets were good for third on the team, trailing only DeSean Jackson and Jordan Reed, who got seven looks apiece. Garcon had just three catches for 24 yards in regulation, then caught a 23-yard pass on the first play of overtime. More troubling than the modest production, he saw six or fewer targets for a fifth straight week, after piling up 32 through the first three weeks of the season. So long as Jackson and Reed are healthy, Garcon may be stuck as the short/intermediate option at wide receiver in an offense that does a pretty good job of spreading the ball around. The last few weeks stand in stark contrast to last season, when Garcon led the NFL with 181 targets.
