It's not clear how much activity Jeroloman has been allowed to do this spring, but he's been reassigned to minor league camp. Provided he's healthy, the veteran backstop will function as minor league depth this season.

Nationals acquired C Brian Jeroloman from the Pirates in exchange for cash considerations.
The Nats were looking for some catching depth with Jhonatan Solano being called up to replace the injured Wilson Ramos (hamstring). Jeroloman is a glove-only backstop that's batting .222/.481/.278 with no homers at the Triple-A level this season.

The 26-year-old backstop batted just .240/.335/.295 with two home runs and 26 RBI in 318 plate appearances this year at Triple-A.
