Kuhn notched a one-yard touchdown and caught one pass for eight yards in Sunday's victory over the 49ers.
Kuhn touched the ball Sunday for the first two times all season, and found his way into the end zone on the first. He will be a threat to steal a touchdown when the Packers are close to the goal line, but Eddie Lacy remains the Packers' top running back option in short-yardage situations.

Kuhn was on the field for just seven snaps in the Packers' victory over the Bears on Sunday, ESPN.com reports.
The Packers kept two fullbacks -- Kuhn and Aaron Ripkowski -- on the active roster and activated both Sunday, but neither player saw much action, and Kuhn was the only one to receive a snap on offense. While Kuhn remains the Packers' top fullback, he is no longer the touchdown vulture he used to be, tallying just three scores since the beginning of the 2012 season.

Kuhn signed a one-year contract Monday to remain with the Packers this season, ESPN.com reports.
Kuhn's deal is reportedly worth the veteran's minimum, with incentives potential raising his salary. Regardless, the Green Bay fan favorite will be back for a ninth season with the Packers. Although he played less than a quarter of the team's offensive snaps last season, Kuhn was still named to his second Pro Bowl and was named The Associated Press All-Pro selection at fullback. While those accomplishments reflect Kuhn's on-field value, his totals of 24 carries for 85 rushing yards and one touchdown last season make Kuhn a player with minimal fantasy value himself.

Kuhn had 24 carries for 85 yards and a touchdown in 16 games during the 2014 season. He also caught four passes for 23 yards and was named the NFL's All-Pro fullback by the AP.
Kuhn's numbers were hardly eye-popping, but he played well enough in other areas of the game to garner recognition at the end of the season. Kuhn will be a free agent this offseason, and it remains to be seen if he will return to Green Bay.

Kuhn had two carries for four yards in Sunday's victory over the Panthers.
Kuhn tallied multiple touches for the third straight game, but most of his action came in garbage time, and he racked up just 28 total yards over that span. His fantasy value is minimal, although he could be a candidate for a goalline carry or two if fellow running back James Starks (ankle) misses any action.

Kuhn had one carry for two yards and a touchdown in Thursday's loss to the Seahawks
As the fullback on a high-scoring, pass-oriented team that loves fullback dives near the end zone, Kuhn probably has the most enjoyable role of anyone at his position in the league. He played just 32 percent of the Packers' offensive snaps last season, recording 10 carries for 38 yards and a touchdown, with 13 receptions for 81 yards on 19 targets. Kuhn did score six times apiece in 2011 and 2012, perhaps making him worth a look in some TD-only formats. Otherwise, his 2-3 touches per game don't figure to yield much value, even if he sees a skewed percentage of those in short-yardage and goal-line situations.
Thu Apr 3 201413:08Packers keep FB Kuhn with one-year contract
Packers re-signed FB John Kuhn to a one-year contract.
According to FOX Sports' Mike Garafolo, the deal is worth "just over" $1 million. With the Packers since 2007, Kuhn was one of the league's better lead blockers last season as the Pack re-established their run game with a vengeance. Although he's a rather infamous fantasy-football vulture, Kuhn has just two total touchdowns over the past two seasons. He turns 32 in September.

Mon Mar 24 201415:35Packers in talks with John Kuhn
The Packers are "still in talks" with free agent FB John Kuhn.
Kuhn has more value in Green Bay than anywhere else, so the Packers should be able to get him back at their own price tag. Kuhn is not generating any known interest elsewhere. The 31-year-old played 20.3 snaps per game in 2013.

Thu Mar 6 201415:25John Kuhn will reach the open market
The Packers will allow free agent FB John Kuhn to reach the open market.
Kuhn has been a Packers mascot of sorts since arriving in 2007, specializing in short-yardage plunges. He's going on 32, however, and there's little reason for a team to ever pay more than the market will bear for a fullback.

Thu Jan 16 201422:13Kuhn's future with Packers up in the air
The Green Bay Press-Gazette believes the Packers would only be interested in re-signing free agent FB John Kuhn for the veteran minimum.
Kuhn played 320 offensive snaps this season, 10th-most among lead blockers. He was also the Packers' primary third-down back and didn't allow a single sack in pass protection, grading out as the No. 3 fullback by Pro Football Focus. "I think there's several factors that really go into who to sign with, where to sign, what value to sign at," Kuhn said. "Those are things that you really need to take some time and evaluate before you just rush to any decision." Entering his ninth season, Kuhn would cost roughly $855,000 to be brought back at the veteran minimum. His future in Green Bay remains up in the air.

Sun Jan 5 201420:13John Kuhn vultures TD in playoff loss
Packers FB John Kuhn rushed twice for two yards and a touchdown and caught two balls for 16 yards in Green Bay's playoff loss.
After Green Bay managed all of six first-quarter team yards, Kuhn was the recipient of the Packers' initial first down of the game, gaining eight on a second-quarter checkdown from Aaron Rodgers. Kuhn operated as the Packers' fullback and protection specialist on obvious passing downs, giving Eddie Lacy a blow. He vultured a one-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter on a fullback dive, giving the Packers a 17-13 lead. Kuhn has now scored a TD in five straight playoff games. Kuhn is now eligible for unrestricted free agency.

Packers FB John Kuhn (hamstring) is listed as doubtful for Week 3.

John Kuhn (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday or Thursday.
Kuhn went down after playing just five snaps in the Week 2 slaughter of the Redskins. With Eddie Lacy (concussion) also out, James Starks was left to play on third downs. Starks could fill an every-down role once again in Week 3, but will be facing a far stiffer matchup against the Bengals.

Sat Aug 31 201310:14John Kuhn to be Packers 3rd-down back
John Kuhn is expected to open the season as the Packers' primary third-down back.
Venerable beat reporter Bob McGinn confirms Eddie Lacy will be the Packers' "feature back" and will play plenty on third downs in hurry-up packages, but Kuhn will be Green Bay's go-to pass protector. It also means Kuhn has sewn up a roster spot amid speculation he might lose his job. Johnathan Franklin went 1-for-5 on blitz pickup changes in the Packers' preseason finale.

Wed Aug 14 201310:32John Kuhn on the roster bubble?
The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel believes John Kuhn is on the roster bubble.
Kuhn is a serviceable lead blocker and protector on passing downs. But he's owed $1.8 million in base salary this season and the Packers have been trying tight end Matthew Mulligan as a battering ram. Kuhn's days as a goal-line touchdown vulture are over thanks to Eddie Lacy's arrival anyway.

Mon Dec 10 201200:59John Kuhn loses five yards in win
John Kuhn lost five yards on his lone carry in Green Bay's Week 14 win over the Lions.
He was targeted only once in the passing game, and went without a catch. There was a chance Kuhn's role would grow with James Starks likely out for the season, but he was a distant third on the depth chart behind Alex Green and recent signee DuJuan Harris this evening. Kuhn remains off the radar in fantasy leagues.
