Accardo was non-tendered by the Blue Jays after posting an 8.10 ERA and 2.25 WHIP over five appearances in 2010. The O's will hope that he can bounce back to the kind of form that he showed in his earlier years in Toronto. He registered a gorgeous 2.14 ERA over 64 appearances back in 2007.

According to Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun, the Orioles have signed Jeremy Accardo to a one-year, $1.08 million contract.
In other words, he'll make the same salary he made last season. The Blue Jays recently non-tendered Accardo after he posted an 8.10 ERA and 2.25 WHIP over five appearances with the big club this year. The O's are obviously optimistic that he can still muster some of the potential he showed when he posted a 2.14 ERA over 64 appearances back in 2007.

Dejan Kovacevic of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that the Pirates are "deeply interested" in Jeremy Accardo.
Accardo was non-tendered by the Blue Jays last week after posting an 8.10 ERA and 2.25 WHIP over five appearances in 2010. He should come cheap and would certainly fair better in the National League Central than he did in the American League East. The Bucs would probably use him in a setup role.
