Yankees manager Joe Girardi said that pitching prospect Francisco Rondon will be out "a couple of weeks" due to tightness in his pitching shoulder.
It doesn't appear that he required an MRI, but the Yankees want to play it safe with the young left-hander. Rondon, 25, held a 3.92 ERA with 85 strikeouts over 82 2/3 frames between Double- and Triple-A last season.
