This was the only time brothers hit successive home runs in a major league game. Rangers claimed LHP Justin Marks off waivers from the Athletics.
The A's had to remove him from their 40-man roster in order to add Friday's starter, Brad Mills. Marks allowed three runs over two relief innings for the Royals earlier this season and has put up a 5.03 ERA over 34 Triple-A frames. He'll represent minor league depth.
