Acquired via waiver claim from the Braves back on June 1, Obispo went on to post a 3.16 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 24:13 K:BB in 23 appearances with the Pirates' Triple-A Indianapolis affiliate. He was bumped from the 40-man roster Wednesday to make room for catcher Ramon Cabrera, and Obispo will once again be subjected to waivers. If the right-hander passes through unclaimed, he'll likely play out the year with Indy as organizational depth. | ||||||
