Last year, Pinder had six stints with New York and was 0-2 with a 2.93 ERA in 25 appearances.

Pinder failed to record an out Monday, allowing a hit, two walks, and a run in the loss to the Blue Jays.

Pinder has now struggled in consecutive outings, but he's had a solid year in the majors with a 3.04 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 26.2 innings. He's mostly been called upon in lower-leverage situations, a trend that will likely continue down the stretch run.
