Rays re-signed INF J.J. Furmaniak to a minor league contract.

Furmaniak, 31, batted .270/.363/.356 with one home run and 27 RBI over 379 plate appearances between Double-A Montgomery and Triple-A Durham this past season. He hasn't appeared in the big leagues since 2007 and is likely to continue to serve as organizational depth.
