Marlins sent OF Brent Keys outright to Double-A Jacksonville.

Keys was designated for assignment by the Fish at the end of June after batting .238/.371/.265 over his first 187 plate appearances at Jacksonville. The 23-year-old outfielder is not really considered a prospect.
