Fri Dec 19 201421:51Price invited to attend major league camp for spring training
Price has been invited to attend major league camp for spring training, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Price lost his spot on the Indians' 40-man roster earlier this month when the team acquired Brandon Moss from Oakland, but he will be afforded an opportunity to compete for a bullpen role in the spring. It's a nice gesture, but Price will have to really impress during Cactus League play to erase the memory of his struggles with the big club last season (20.25 ERA, .500 BAA).
Tue Dec 9 201413:38Price designated for assignment by Indians on Monday
Price was designated for assignment by the Indians on Monday, Joe Reedy of FOX Sports Ohio reports.
The former first-round pick finally broke through to the majors last seasons after being stuck in neutral at the upper levels of the minors for several years, but he struggled mightily in his three appearances with the big club (20.25 ERA). With Brandon Moss coming aboard via trade with the A's, a spot on the 40-man roster had to be freed up, and Price was the casualty. The 28-year-old did post a 2.73 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 9.6 K/9 with Triple-A Columbus last season and could draw interest while on waivers.

Price will be called up from Triple-A Columbus on Monday, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Price has split the 2014 season between Triple-A Columbus and Double-A Akron, compiling a 2.48 cumulative ERA over 36.1 innings. He's made 20 appearances for Columbus, recording 28 strikeouts and 10 walks to go with a 1.101 WHIP.
Fri Mar 14 201411:18Bryan Price optioned to Triple-A
Indians optioned RHP Bryan Price to Triple-A Columbus.
Price is coming off a brilliant minor league season, but there's no room for him in the Indians' bullpen at the moment. He should make his major league debut in 2014.

Wed Nov 20 201315:29Indians add RHP Price to 40-man roster
Indians purchased the contract of RHP Bryan Price from Triple-A Columbus.
The move protects him from being selected in December's Rule 5 Draft. Acquired from the Red Sox in the Victor Martinez deal way back in 2009, the 27-year-old put things together this season by posting a 2.04 ERA and 92/16 K/BB ratio over 75 relief innings between Double- and Triple-A.
