In his first game after being called up from Double-A New Hampshire, Burns went 4-for-4 with a double in Triple-A Buffalo's 5-1 victory on Friday.

The former 11th round pick was hardly tearing up Double-A prior to being called up, hitting for a .238/.333/.381 slash line in six games; however, he made the most of his promotion right away. With so many young players above Burns in the infield, it's unlikely he'll be called up to the majors any time soon.
