Cubs acquired RHP Barret Loux and a player to be named later from the Rangers in exchange for RHP Jake Brigham.

Loux is a former first-round pick by the D'Backs that didn't sign due to concerns over a shoulder injury. He has been healthy for the Rangers, though, and posted a 3.25 ERA over 25 Double-A starts for them in 2012.
