Rangers activated RHP Tyler Tufts from the 15-day disabled list; sent him outright to Triple-A Round Rock.

Tufts posted a 5.64 ERA in 30 1/3 innings this season in the Rangers' minor league system. The 25-year-old was a 32nd-round selection in the 2008 MLB Amateur Draft.
