Astros prospect Jiovanni Mier is expected to miss the next couple of weeks with a hamstring injury.

Mier is headed back to Houston to have his hamstring examined by club doctors. The 2009 first-round pick was batting .309 with an .861 OPS at a high level of Single-A.
