Sun Mar 27 201117:10Nats' Broderick takes loss to Marlins
Rule 5 pick Brian Broderick gave up five runs -- three earned -- in his inning Sunday against the Marlins.
The Nationals appear committed to keeping Broderick as a middle reliever, but they'd almost certainly be better off going with Collin Balester instead and it's not as though Broderick projects as an impact pitcher down the road. It'd be a surprise if he lasts the season with the team.
