Wed Mar 5 201417:12Joel Carreno strikes out side in inning
Non-roster right-hander Joel Carreno fanned all three Marlins he faced in his relief appearance Wednesday.
The Mets can send Carreno down without any issue, so that's probably what they'll do. On merit, though, there's a good chance he'll prove to be one of the team's seven best relievers. He's struck out five in 2 1/3 scoreless innings this spring.
