Lueke has signed with Delfines del Carmen of the Mexican League, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Lueke elected free agency at the end of a disappointing 2014 campaign. The 30-year-old has not posted a sub-5.00 ERA in four major league stints, so he'll spend the 2015 season in Mexico rather than fight for a spot on another major league roster.

Lueke struggled in the majors in 2014, pitching to a 5.64 ERA in 25 appearances. He was better after being sent down to Triple-A Durham where he posted a 3.38 ERA with 40 strikeouts in 37.1 innings. He'll likely have to fight for a major league roster spot wherever he lands.
