Coello signed a minor league contract with the Rangers on Tuesday, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
Coello went 6-3 with a 3.50 ERA with San Francisco's Triple-A affiliate last season, but has not appeared in a big league game since 2013. He will report to the Rangers' spring training complex in Arizona.

The 29-year-old right-hander missed much of the 2013 season due to a shoulder injury, but compiled a 3.71 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 23/8 K/BB ratio in 17 innings with the Angels before he hit the DL. As long as he's healthy, he should compete for a bullpen role with the Yankees.
