Luke Scott was released by the SK Wyverns of the Korean Baseball Organization Wednesday after showing "disrespectful" behavior toward his coach.
Scott was on the injured list due to plantar fasciitis and was not pleased with how the team was managing the ailment, calling coach Lee Man-soon a "liar" and a "coward." The 36-year-old hit .267 with six homers in 33 games for Wyvern and was on the injured list three times. He seems likely to sit out the rest of the season before seeking a major league deal over the winter.
