Herrera signed a minor league deal with the Giants on Saturday, Baseball America's Matt Eddy reports.

Herrera is a 29-year-old minor league journeyman, and is unlikely to reach the big leagues anytime soon. He missed most of 2014 with an undisclosed injury.
