Dodgers signed LHP Andrew Sisco to a minor league contract.
Sisco, a former top prospect with the Cubs, split last season between the Yankees' Triple-A affiliate and the Mexican League. The 29-year-old southpaw hasn't pitched in the majors since 2007 as a member of the White Sox and is likely to serve as organizational depth.

Yankees released LHP Andrew Sisco.
Sisco signed a minor league contract with the Yankees in November, but the club decided to send him packing on Wednesday. A former first-round pick, he posted a 4.32 ERA and walked 36 batters in 66 2/3 innings last season at the Double-A level. He showed decent velocity in winter ball and may be able to find another opportunity elsewhere.

Yankees signed LHP Andrew Sisco to a minor league deal.
Sisco held a 4.32 ERA and struck out 75 over 66 2/3 innings at Double-A in 2010 but also walked 36 in his first season back from Tommy John surgery. The former first-round pick has always been able to get swings and misses, but the free passes have been a problem. He's reportedly throwing in the mid-90s in winter ball, so it's a nice gamble for the Yanks.
