Outman (shoulder) was released by the Braves on Tuesday.

Outman, who has been dealing with a shoulder injury since spring training, has not pitched in a big league game since last season as a member of the Yankees. He logged one inning of work in his rehab assignment last week, but will now become a free agent after his release from the Braves organization.
