Acho was released by the Eagles on Friday, Geoff Mosher of CSN Philly reports.
Acho was expected to compete for a roster spot on the Eagles but appears to have missed the cut. He missed the entire 2012 season due to injury and was released by the Eagles in December of last year as well.

Eagles re-signed LB Emmanuel Acho.
CB Shaun Prater was waived in a corresponding roster move. The Eagles acquired Acho from the Browns in April, but he didn't make it past final cuts. He then signed with the Giants' practice squad. The 2012 sixth-rounder should contribute on special teams.

New Eagles LB Emmanuel Acho is 100 percent recovered from the meniscus tear that landed him on injured reserve last August.
Initially, the injury was undisclosed, but after his trade to the Eagles on Wednesday the nature of the ailment was revealed. The 6-foot-2, 238-pound inside 'backer will compete for a reserve role behind Mychal Kendricks and DeMeco Ryans.

Browns placed rookie LB Emmanuel Acho on injured reserve, ending his season.
Acho went down in Cleveland's second preseason game with an undisclosed injury and hadn't returned. A sixth-round pick out of Texas, he was going to be a reserve on defense and play special teams. He'll compete for a job in 2013.
