Bullock is one of three kickers that will be working out for the Steelers on Saturday, the Houston Chronicle reports.

Bullock was recently cut by the Texans, replaced by Nick Novak, after missing two kicks in Week 3's win over the Buccaneers. He's a career 80-percent kicker on field goals. Also working out Saturday will be Chris Boswell and Kai Forbath.

Bullock was released by the Texans on Tuesday, ESPN's Tania Ganguli reports.

The Texans will sacrifice leg strength for accuracy, replacing Bullock with veteran kicker Nick Novak. Bullock has already missed two extra points and a field goal this season, and while Novak should be more reliable, the Houston offense doesn't inspire any confidence.

The Texans are bringing in five place-kickers for an audition Tuesday for Bullock's kicking job, according to league sources, the Houston Chronicle reports.

Bullock missed his second extra-point kick of the season and a field-goal attempt in Sunday's win over the Buccaneers. This isn't the first time during his career that Bullock has faced competition, but he appeared to solidify his job after a good 2014 season. The list of kickers includes Nick Novak, Kai Forbath, Chris Boswell, Giorgio Tavecchio and Connor Barth.

Bullock missed an extra-point kick and a field-goal attempt in Sunday's win over Tampa Bay.

Bullock continued his season of redemption in 2014. The 19 points against Baltimore vaulted him to 127 points (30-for-35 FGA, 37 XP) for the season, tying him for the league lead in scoring. If you recall, Bullock nearly lost his job last season and was challenged in training camp.

Bullock made his only field-goal attempt, a 53-yarder, and one extra point for a four-point week in Sunday's loss to the Colts.

The miss was part of a 10-point swing at a crucial time. A successful field goal would have tied the game late in the third quarter. After the miss, the Eagles marched down the field in four plays to go up by 10 points. The three-point output by Bullock was his lowest scoring total of the season.

Bullock kicked three field goals and three extra points for his second straight double-digit scoring week in Sunday's 30-16 win over Tennessee.

Bullock is now 15-for-17 on field-goal tries this season and has 65 points through eight games.

Bullock converted all three of his field-goal attempts and added two extra points in Monday night's 30-23 loss to the Steelers. The 11-point night was Bullock's third double-digit outing in seven games.

Bullock has been successful on 12 of his 14 field-goal attempts this season and his 53 points is tied for 11th among placekicker scoring this season.

The miss seemingly didn't matter when looking at the final five-point deficit, however, we don't know how head coach Bill O'Brien's decision-making going forward was impacted. It was just Bullock's second miss of the season and the first miss that wasn't blocked. Overall, he's been reliable and the Houston offense is doing enough to make him a viable kicking option for fantasy lineups.

The Houston offense struggled to generate scoring opportunities and when it did, Arian Foster finished off a couple with touchdowns. While Bullock has missed just one field goal this season, a great improvement over 2013, the inconsistency of the offense makes it tough to rely on the kicker each week.

Bullock made all three of his field goals, including a 55-yarder, and both extra points in Sunday's win over Buffalo.

Bullock's had one field-goal miss this season and that one was blocked. He's had games of five, 12, five and 11 points through the first quarter of the season. At the very least, he's been an accurate kicker on which fantasy owners might be willing to gamble. Whether the Texans' offense can get him into position consistently enough remains the real question.
