Former major league pitcher Justin Miller was found dead Wednesday evening, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's office.
He was 35 years old. Authorities are investigating, but have not yet determined a cause of death. Miller pitched seven seasons in the majors, making stops with the Blue Jays, Marlins, Giants and Dodgers. Since last appearing in the majors in 2010, he had turned his passion to coaching youth baseball and softball players.

Miller, 33, posted a respectable 4.44 ERA and 1.23 WHIP this year of the Dodgers' bullpen, fanning 30 batters and walking only eight over 24 1/3 innings. He should land a spot in the M's Opening Day bullpen.

Dodgers purchased the contract of RHP Justin Miller from Triple-A Albuquerque.
Miller, 32, was signed to a minor league contract last December. He posted a 2.22 ERA over 18 games with the Isotopes. The veteran right-hander compiled a 3.18 ERA and 1.31 WHIP in 44 relief appearances with the Giants last season.
