Perry won't return to Sunday's game against the Rams due to a shoulder injury, Jason Wilde of ESPN Wisconsin reports.
Perry added two tackles and a half sack to his ledger before leaving the game. The severity of his injury could emerge in the aftermath of the contest, but Wednesday's injury report will ultimately give a good indication of his level of health.
Mon Oct 5 201515:24Perry tallied two sacks in Sunday's victory over 49ers
Perry tallied two sacks in Sunday's victory over the 49ers.
Perry is working mainly in a reserve role this season, but that has not stopped him from racking up three sacks through the Packers' first four games. That total matches what he posted in 15 games in 2014 and is just one off his career high of 4.0 sacks, set in 2013.
Wed Jul 29 201519:01Perry (shoulder) wasn't placed on PUP list Wednesday
Perry (shoulder) wasn't placed on the PUP list Wednesday, Jason Wilde of ESPN Wisconsin reports.
Perry was absent from the entire offseason program due to shoulder surgery performed shortly after the conclusion of last season. However, he's passed a physical in advance of training and is thus available to take part in the Packers' first practice Thursday. While he may be a regular starter at outside linebacker this season, his IDP potential is limited after tallying 24 tackles (18 solo), three sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 15 games.

Perry underwent offseason shoulder surgery and may not be ready for the start of training camp on July 30, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. "Without a question, it was something that had to be done," he said. "We're good now. We're on the right track."
Perry endured the injury for much of last season, but it was only severe enough to force inactive status in Week 12. Nonetheless, the procedure was performed after the campaign's conclusion, forcing absences in all offseason practices to date. Because the Packers intend to utilize Clay Matthews at both inside and outside linebacker in 2015, snaps will be there for Perry to take advantage of, if he can avoid the injury bug that has capped him at 32 of a possible 48 career appearances.
Mon Apr 27 201515:29The Packers are not likely to pick up Perry's fifth-year option
The Packers are not likely to pick up Perry's fifth-year option, ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports.
Assuming this is the case, the 2012 first-rounder would become a free agent after this upcoming season. In the unlikely event that the Packers decide to pick up the option before the deadline this Sunday, Perry would be slated to earn $7.75 million for the 2016 season. Perry played in 15 games, including four starts, for the Packers last season where he totaled 22 tackles, three sacks and a forced fumble.

Perry (shoulder) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Patriots, the Packers' official site reports.
With 18 tackles and three sacks in 10 games to date, Perry needs to get to the QB in order to have any fantasy value, something that he last did in Week 7.

Perry (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Tyler Dunne reports.
Perry missed last week's win over the Vikings but has a chance to return Sunday if his shoulder cooperates. Aside from a brief three-game stretch during the middle of the season when he recorded three sacks, Perry has done little to generate fantasy interest.

Perry started Sunday's game at right outside linebacker with Clay Matthews moving inside to play middle linebacker.
The Packers had success with their new defensive alignment, so it wouldn't be surprising to see them stick with it moving forward. Perry made just two tackles (both solo) Sunday, but he did play a season-high 37 snaps in the game.

Perry recorded three tackles (two solo) and two sacks in Thursday's victory over the Vikings.
Perry is working as a backup this season with Julius Peppers in town, but he got a chance to see extra playing time Thursday with the Packers well ahead, and made the most of his opportunity. Perry has totaled 11 tackles (five solo) and two sacks through five games.
Fri Aug 1 201410:39Perry (knee) practiced Thursday for first time since last season
Perry (knee) practiced Thursday for the first time since last season, ESPN.com reports.
Perry sat out all the Packers' offseason activities while recovering from both knee and foot injuries, but he was able to return to action Thursday. The Packers will be hoping that Perry can improve his play after two injury-riddled seasons, but he will almost certainly open the season in a part-time role behind starting outside linebackers Clay Matthews and Julius Peppers.

Wed Jun 18 201420:27Packers frustrated with OLB Nick Perry
According to ESPN Packers reporter Rob Demovsky, there is "frustration throughout the organization" with 2012 first-round pick Nick Perry, who missed all of spring practices with an undisclosed injury.
Asked to explain Perry's injury, coach Mike McCarthy replied "I mean, he's injured, so ..." Perry has missed 15 of 32 possible regular season games, and battled foot and ankle injuries in 2013. "It's unfortunate," chimed in LBs coach Winston Moss. "It's disappointing." Perry has six sacks through 17 NFL appearances. He's going to lose snaps to Julius Peppers this season.

Thu May 29 201418:30Nick Perry not practicing on Thursday
Packers OLB Nick Perry is sitting out OTAs with an undisclosed ailment.
It's unclear what Perry's issue is, but he missed five games with a broken foot last season. Oft-injured, the No. 28 overall pick of the 2012 draft is heading into a make-or-break year. Julius Peppers already promises to cut into his snap count.

Sat May 3 201422:38Packers hoping for third-year jump from Perry
The Packers are hoping for a third-year jump from OLB Nick Perry.
Perry was reduced to a situational role in the second half of last year while playing through injuries, recording just 28 tackles and four sacks. He's going to see less playing time with the addition of Julius Peppers, but should still get regular snaps at outside linebacker opposite Clay Matthews. Perry is entering a make-or-break season in 2014.

Sat Jan 4 201409:55Nick Perry's snaps are dropping
Packers OLB Nick Perry's snap count dropped from 38 to 33 to 28 to 22 to 12 over Green Bay's final five regular season games.
Perry has generally rushed the passer well when given opportunities this year, but is playing through an October 13 cracked foot and fallen behind Mike Neal and Andy Mulumba on the depth chart. He's having trouble changing direction in space. "Nick is pushing through some issues health-wise," confirmed OLBs coach Kevin Greene. Perry has six sacks through 17 career games.

Mon Oct 14 201315:59Report: Packers OLB Perry has broken foot
Green Bay's The Fan 1075 reports Packers OLB Nick Perry has been diagnosed with a broken foot, but "will return this year."
The Fan 1075 isn't a typical Rotoworld source, but NBC Milwaukee has seconded the report. If true, it's yet another blow for Green Bay's unbelievably beat up linebacker corps, and leaves them short both edge 'backers with Clay Matthews (thumb) sidelined. A 2012 first-rounder, Perry has been inconsistent this season, but is coming off two good games.

Thu Jun 6 201314:53McCarthy likes what he's seeing from Perry
Coach Mike McCarthy says second-year OLB Nick Perry "looks so much smoother an athletic" than he did as a rookie.
Perry, the No. 28 overall pick last year, had an underwhelming rookie season. He registered just two sacks in six games before a season-ending wrist injury. Perry is still sporting a brace on the wrist, but McCarthy says if training camp started tomorrow that Perry would be out there with no restrictions.
