The Diamondbacks have sold the rights of RHP Yhency Brazoban to the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks of Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball League.
As expected. Brazoban, now 31, allowed four runs on eight hits over six innings with the Diamondbacks before being sent back down to the minor leagues earlier this month. Injuries have plagued him ever since a promising rookie season with the Dodgers in 2004.

Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports.com reports that Yhency Brazoban is on the verge of leaving the Diamondbacks to to sign with Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks of the Nippon Professional Baseball League in Japan.
Brazoban was sent outright to Triple-A Reno last week after allowing four runs on eights over six innings with the Diamondbacks. The 31-year-old right-hander has a 3.22 ERA and 42/14 K/BB ratio over 36 1/3 innings at the Triple-A level this season.

Diamondbacks purchased the contract of RHP Yhency Brazoban from Triple-A Reno.
Brazoban signed a minor league contract with Arizona in early June after requesting his release from the Rangers. He's posted strong numbers this season at Triple-A, but the 30-year-old hasn't pitched in a big league game since 2008 and is unlikely to have much success.

Diamondbacks signed RHP Yhency Brazoban to a minor league contract.
Brazoban requested his release from the Rangers on Thursday after posting a quality 3.42 ERA and 31/11 K/BB ratio over 26 1/3 innings at Triple-A Round Rock but failing to earn a promotion to the major leagues. The D'Backs could use him right away in middle relief, but the right-hander will report to Triple-A Reno initially.

Yhency Brazoban has been moved up to big league camp.
The Rangers inked Brazoban to a minor league contract in December but did not include an invitation to spring training. Now they want him to be present, probably for depth reasons. The 30-year-old righty posted a 6.10 ERA over 10 appearances for the Mets' Triple-A affiliate last season and remains a longshot for a big league roster spot with Texas.

Rangers signed RHP Yhency Brazoban to a minor league contract.
He reportedly will not receive a spring training invite. Brazoban, now 30 years old, began the 2010 season in the Mexican League and finished the year with Triple-A Buffalo in the Mets organization, posting a 6.10 ERA over 10 appearances. Arm problems have plagued the once-promising reliever, who hasn't pitched in the big leagues since 2008.
