Ayala allowed three runs on 11 hits and two walks over 5 1/3 innings in Triple-A, which wasn't enough to convince the Orioles to call him up. He'll look for an opportunity elsewhere.

Braves acquired RHP Luis Ayala from the Orioles for LHP Chris Jones.
The Orioles were reportedly shopping Ayala during spring training as they were trying to find a way to clear a roster spot for Rule 5 pick T.J. McFarland, so they have finally found a suitor. Ayala, 35, posted a 2.64 ERA and 51/15 K/BB ratio over 75 innings last season and should provide some depth for a bullpen which is missing set-up man Jonny Venters. He's making $1 million in 2013.
